i have the exact same problem ive got the 2.37gb compressed version Total.War.ShoGun.2.REPACK-KaOs ive used ur extraction tool. and put it all in a folder now the folder size after the extraction is 1.55gb witch is weird considering the game is around 22gb.. when i select the shogun.exe it comes up...

by the way, about the problem, you need to free more space. make sure u have around 30 gb free space. if it doesnt work still, then free more space.

Well installation i always keep around 20 gig free space except for really big games like hitman absolution, sleeping dogs, etc... but twice the final size is a good option for most games.
